The show must go on ! - Jean-Manuel Simoes

It had been a long time since I went in a demonstration, and I must say that informations received on the Parisian movement against labor law, known as « El Khomri » could not have been more ambiguous. As best we can is to go by itself, it is often instructive. Rather new, and besides the large police procession, framing the event, the phenomenon appears to me the amazing thing is the emphasis on the production of images. Throughout the procession, bystanders and « information producers of new writingyouressay.com media », photographing and filming the demonstrators, rioters and clashes with CRS and gendarmes as if they were attending a show.
Distrust of newspapers ‘traditional’ or need to attend an event without participating fully, democratization and the technical usability of new acquisition and dissemination tools place everyone as a « producer information « in power.
This phenomenon, new to me, gave me the idea to work on the concept of producing images « new », proceeding by an image sandwiching events and image producers, offering par-hence my images to a new light placed outside the -manifestation- event.
